Magnolia Prom Tilda With Flowers

Hello Friends

I hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend.
Here is a new card from me using Prom Tilda, one of the new Magnolia stamps. I hope you like it.

I have used distress inks to paint her, and stickles to make her dress sparkle.
The papers are the new Maja Design collection, Vintage Romance, edged and stitched to some matching Bazzill card. I also added pearl string, a seam binding bow, a pearl/diamanté button and a selection of paper flowers. All available at The Ribbon Girl online shop.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.
Have a good week

All About Spring

ALL ABOUT MAGNOLIA ~ ALL ABOUT SPRING

Hi Magnolia Fans
It's time for a mid way reminder for
ALL ABOUT MAGNOLIA

I am a little early for this post, but have a lot happening in the next week so I need to post today.

The challenge is SPRING, Yay!
This is 'Tilda with Spring lamb', painted with distress inks and surrounded with pink pearl string. The papers are Maja, stitched with Magnolia die-cuts of leaves, grass and fence.
The cute lamb is jointed and has rhinestones. I found it in a little everything shop in London and couldn't resist it. It dangles from some blue seam binding. The lace, ribbon and pearls are from the Ribbon Girls.

Have a lovely Easter

INKY CHICKS - HAPPY EASTER

HAPPY EASTER !

Happy Easter from the Inky Chicks.
Yes, it's time for a new challenge and the theme is
Happy Easter!

For my card I used a Magnolia stamp. Tilda with Hanging Rabbit.
She has been painted with distress inks and surrounded with pearl strings. This Maja paper was a limited edition and sadly this is my last piece...sob. I inked and stitched the pieces, used cut up dies for a background and added some delicious flowers with splodges of gesso and glamour dust. The lace is from the Ribbon Girl, Leaves and grass are Magnolia dies.
Do you like my little jointed rabbit, I set him dangling from some seam binding.

So, that's all from me for a while.
Have a wonderful Easter and don't forget to join in our Inky Chicks Challenge.
Hugs

TILDA BAKES CAKES FOR MOTHERS DAY

Today is Mothers Day in the UK and so I have made a card celebrating Mums, who bake delicious cakes, covered in sweet pink icing and cream.......just like these!

Over at SIMPLY MAGNOLIA we have the theme of DIES.
This shaped easel card uses many dies. I have counted two GoKreate, Three Joy Craft and two Magnolia.
I've painted Tilda with Tim Holtz distress inks, adding sparkle with glamour dust and stickles to the fancy bits.
The pretty lace, seam binding ribbon and embellishments are available from The Ribbon Girl and the flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Have a Lovely Week

INKY CHICKS CHALLENGE - RIBBON and or LACE

HI EVERYONE

So sorry this post is late. I haven't been well lately and my energy levels are  non existent. Hopefully I am near to finding a diagnosis as I have felt much too ill to craft and as most of you know, that's not like me at all.

So on to my card for my beloved INKY CHICKS, yay!
The theme this time is RIBBON and/or Lace.
A lovely one!

Here's little Tilda in her garden, coloured as usual with distress inks and with a glittery spade.

The papers are from two different Maja collections, but you can easily do this with Maja as the colour range is so similar. The card was cut with GoKreate dies and stitched. I have used some embroidered lace which I gathered and then added a border. The fence, grass and stems are from Magnolia and the flowers are from Live and Love Crafts.

It will soon be Spring and we will all be able to be in our gardens like Tilda. I can't wait myself !

Have a lovely, sunny week.
Sending you big Hugs,
Christina

HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYONE!

It's time for me to share my DT card for SIMPLY MAGNOLIA. The theme is Clean and Simple or Fully Loaded, it's up to you. I always choose Fully Loaded.
 Here is my card.

The papers are Pion and as usual I have inked and stitched them, using a Joy Craft die for the flower border. I painted "Tilda Hiding Rose" using distress inks and surrounded her with bead string. The bow and embellishments are from the Ribbon Girls. The leaves are Magnolia and all flowers are Live and Love Crafts.

That's all for now. Enjoy the week ahead,
Hugs

All About Magnolia - All About Love

Hello Everyone.

I hope you enjoyed your Valentine weekend.
We are continuing our challenge at ALL ABOUT MAGNOLIA and this card is for the half way reminder.
The theme for February is ALL ABOUT LOVE.

I  chose one of the latest Tilda stamps for my card and painted her with distress inks. The cloud and wooden heart/bird are smothered with Glamour dust...love this stuff! The papers are Pion from a Christmas collection, but the angels seem to match the stamp, I added cheesecloth and pink pearl string, lace and scrunched seam binding. The flower die cut above the card is JOY CRAFT with added pearls, the leaves are Magnolia and the flowers are from Live Love And Love Crafts (papers too) with some painted gesso.

Well I hope you like my card this month and feel inspired to join our challenge.
Hugs

INKY CHICKS -LOVE (LETTERS) AND/OR HEARTS

Hello Friends

Wonderful news! I am officially an Inky Chick!
Well I admit to be a little bit more of a chick, more a mother hen really, but so happy to be here and very proud to be part of this challenge blog, where every single DT member is so very talented.

So, on to February's challenge which is
LOVE (LETTERS) AND/OR HEARTS
'cos it's Valentines Day very soon!

Here is my first card for you.

This card was made with the new Valentine papers from Pion.  I cut most of the embellishments out from the papers and all I had to do was ink the edges and then add some sparkle with my Stickles glue.

I've used Magnolia's "I Give You a Rose Tilda" and painted her with distress inks.

I hope you all like my card.

Magnolia Tilda with Peony

♥ ♥ ♥Good Morning Everyone ♥ ♥ ♥

This is my first post for 2016 and I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year!
♥ ♥ ♥
Today's card is for my ALL ABOUT MAGNOLIA design team.
We are half way through challenge # 10 - ALL ABOUT NEW and my card uses A NEW WAY of using my dies.

So, here is the oh so sweet PEONY TILDA, painted with distress inks.  I have used two sets of dies on this card,
SPELLBINDERS Opulent Ovals and MARIANNE LR0299 Hearts. The papers are by PION DESIGN. I used one of the smaller hearts as a frame for a pretty image and added Stardust Stickles on all the die cuts. The tiny heart was used at the bottom of the card with a pearl/diamanté  embellishment on top. The flowers, lace and papers are all to be found at LIVE AND LOVE CRAFTS.
Of course Tilda had to have Crystal Glamour Dust added to her lace and flower... I love sparkle!
I hope you will join our challenge this month as there is still another two weeks to enter.

Sending Hugs
